Apriani’s artwork emphasizes realistic methods-carrying a resemblance to whatever is referenced. Her medium is ballpoint pen on canvas. Hermain technique used is amassing extremely meticulous cross-hatching lines/shading. For Apriani, lines are a media to express experience, contemplation as well as sensitivity to the object. Still, Apriani’s artwork is not just about representation; it is intertwined with reality and hopes, the present and the past in a frame of perception.
