OPPO Art Jakarta Virtual 2020
Art Jakarta is a contemporary art fair, held annually in Jakarta, Indonesia. The fair is usually held at Jakarta Convention Center at Senayan. This year Art Jakarta has been canceled. Covid-19 pandemic has to change the world in scale. It forced art and cultural institutions to explore alternative digital spaces with online exhibitions. So, Art Jakarta presents a virtual exhibition to solve this problem.
Rachel Gallery is pleased to participate in Art Jakarta Virtual with a selection of artwork made in 2020 by three young artists, Addy Debil, Adi Dharma (Stereoflow), and Argya Dhyaksa.
For this month all of the artworks are in full color, young, and energic. Argya Dhyaksa, famous for his unique, playful, with witty sense of humour, we are pleased to present his artistic exploration in canvas, with three colorful paintings. Also on view is three paintings by Addy Debil, which still playful and colorful as usual but with more mature color exploration compare to his solo exhibition last year. Finally, the gallery will also present two new round paintings by Adi Dharma, a street art artist famous for his projects with Samsung, Hush Pupies, and Swissotel, Jakarta, to name a few.
As for Addy Debil and Adi Dharma we present them in decorated walls as we want to display their artworks as best as they should be as street artists.
