In the exhibition “Penenun Mimpi” or “Dream Weaver,” Mahendra Pampam skillfully presents a diverse array of dreams across time in a singular moment and space. His surrealistic artworks, often utilizing engraving techniques, symbolize filtered thoughts and experiences.
Inspired by traditional Nusantara art, Pampam deliberately avoids formality, exploring non-rectangular shapes. This solo exhibition not only visually narrates a cohesive story but also serves as a manifestation of Pampam’s profound thoughts, reflecting the philosophy behind each exhibited piece.
