Anggar Prasetyo is an artist who often uses emboss techniques in his paintings, producing three-dimensional illusions that appear to surface. His name skyrocketed when it was announced as the winner of UOB Painting of the Year Indonesia and UOB Painting of the Year Southeast Asia in 2015 through the work titled Exploitation of Fish. The work is a form of concern over the instability of fish ecosystems in the Indonesian sea due to overfishing.
