Tanto graduated from the Art Studio, Bandung Institute of Technology in 1998, then continued at Rijksakademie Van Beeldende Kunsten, Amsterdam, Netherlands, 2001-2002. Since 1998 until now, Tanto has been working as an artist by participating in group exhibitions and solo exhibitions, making workshops and art projects, as well as participating in the artist in residence program on various occasions.In addition to working as an artist, Tanto also teaches art, writes blogs and writes fiction.
